Hello Rhizome folks,
I just added a project to my online portfolio that some of you may be
interested in. The piece is a mashup film which combines strands of the
narrative of Alfred Hithcock's Rear Window and Jean-Luc Godard's Le
Mepris. This work tangles the character arc of the house-bound
photographer L.B. Jeffries and the neglected beauty Camille Javal. This
new narrative is intentionally ambiguous and blurs the distinction
between the these two milestone of cinema.
