The opening reception for Jordan Crandall's exhibition, "Showing," will be Saturday from 6-9pm. Since the form of the exhibition is a series of events, the opening will simply be the first one: the first Los Angeles screening of Crandall's video Homefront (2006); taping/ screenings of "confessional" interviews that the artist conducts with people at the opening; and an erotic drawing session with Miguel Angel Reyes.

Events over the next five weeks - see schedule below - include presentations, screenings, and performances, along with discursive interventions in various formats. TELIC operates as a stage throughout the show, with every live event being recorded and then distributed as a catalog series of DVD's.

Note: schedule subject to change. For an up-to-date, detailed schedule of screenings, presentations, and performances - as well as the web catalog - see http://www.telic.info/catalogs/showing.
