“Permanent Wilting” is an innovative multimedia performance evening by Avant Media Performance principal artists Ana Baer- Carrillo and Randy Gibson and artistic collaborators Dani Beauchamp, Susanna Morrow, Joe Talkington and Nathan Montgomery. Incorporating dance, live music, theater and multiple video projections, the evening presents the world premieres of several multidisciplinary short pieces directed by choreographer-videographer Ana Baer-Carrillo.

The cornerstone of “Permanent Wilting” is the west coast avant-premiere of “Aqua Madora” (2006) for just intonation piano, dance, and film performed live by Randy Gibson (piano) and Dani Beauchamp (dancer). Blending the borders between dance, theater, music and projected image, the works in “Permanent Wilting” evoke a world of poetic imagery crafted into an ingenious evening.

“Permanent Wilting” is produced and presented by Avant Media Performance, Inc. and co-produced by Highways Performance Space.
