Jane Gotts
Jane Gotts was born and educated in England, attending the Cheltenham College of Art and Design in Gloucestershire. Gotts began her working life in animation in Bristol, and then London. She was eventually shipped out to Los Angeles to work at DreamWorks. Gotts worked in various guises as head of the color model department, head of 2d-cg, and compositing supervisor on such films as Prince of Egypt, The Road to Eldorado, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and Sinbad, Legend of the Seven Seas. Gotts’ current series of paintings evoke medieval bestiaries; stories about creatures both real and fanciful that were popular texts in the Middle Ages. These creatures are often presented in courtly pose and trappings, through techniques usually seen in traditional, centuries-old portraits of royalty and the clergy.

Bonni Reid
As the daughter of an eccentric mechanical engineer and a stiff-upper-lipped British nurse, Bonni Reid explores the underpinnings, bumps and anomalies in all manner of historical arcane. Bonni Reid's subject matter reflects a dark underlying mythos that belies the innocence, wonder, and imagination of a glossed over past. When not brewing her own visual concoctions, she freelances as a color designer for animation productions including six seasons of Cartoon Network's Ed, Edd 'n Eddy. Reid currently lives in the West End of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Cameron Tiede
Raised in the great white north of Canada on sugar-infested cereal, 80’s music, Peanuts comics, and classic Nintendo games, Cameron Tiede has always stayed a kid. In the 90’s, he ventured down to Southern California to thaw out and attend Art Center College of Design where he studied and graduated with distinction in illustration. Cameron’s signature style is infused with raw energetic characters and stimulating color. Described as “illuminated innocence,” his work is as playful as it is honest, and is exhibited and collected around the world. He has several limited edition vinyl art toys currently in distribution, with more to come later this year, including his signature character line 13 Tomodachi released at Comic-Com 2007. Working as a freelance designer and illustrator, some of his commercial projects have included clients such as Disney, Mattel, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks and Warner Brothers. He also teaches illustration and design classes at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and FIDM in Los Angeles.

Adam Strange
Adam Strange combines painterly style with forward thinking narrative. Strange's work tends to explore the tension between two seemingly incongruous schools of thought: faith and science. Adam studied General Art at California State University Long Beach. He has lived and worked in San Francisco, New York, New Orleans and Los Angeles. His work has been published in books and magazines both domestically and abroad. Currently he resides in Southern California.

Magda Keriakos
Inspired by her older sister, Magda Keriakos, began drawing at the age of four and has not stopped since. Her resume is a testament to the years of devotion she has invested in her art. Throughout high school, Magda received numerous accolades for her achievements. She was later accepted to Art Center and mastered the fluidity, texture and movement held inside her paintings and was honored with the "Leader of Her Class" award. After graduating, the Walt Disney Company hired her as part of the Creative Design Think Tank for Disney Interactive Studios. Although she loves her position at Disney, painting has and always will be her true passion. Magda's recent paintings have been an expression of culture and movement, translated to the panels as visual form. Magda currently resides in San Dimas, California.

La Luz de Jesus is located in the Soap Plant/Waco building, in East Hollywood at 4633 Hollywood Blvd, 90027. Gallery hours are Monday - Wednesday: 11am - 7pm, Thursday - Saturday: 11am - 9pm and Sunday 12-6pm.
