La Luz De Jesus Press and Last Gasp of San Francisco in association with Billy Shire Fine Arts, www.billyshirefinearts.com are pleased to announce a five date, west coast book signing tour by Detroit artist Glenn Barr, in support of his second book, HAUNTED PARADISE.
Barr is one of Detroit's most celebrated and successful underground artists. HAUNTED PARADISE is a 161 page journey into Barr’s world and works. The book includes reproductions of his paintings, drawings and photographs since 2001. His native Detroit landscape is the predominate subject of the book. Juxtapoz Magazine states “HAUNTED PARADISE is a testimony of Barr’s artistic hand so cleverly interpreting the world as he sees it.” Mutaminx art blog proclaims “…influenced by pulp art and comics, Barr’s work, beautifully sampled in this collection, is the visual equivalent of a David Lynch film”
