Description: All submissions must interpret, comment on, or even criticize what “The TV of Tomorrow” theme means to you. We are especially looking for interactive multiplatform-enabled media, but this does not necessarily mean it has to be digital!! Works not including a TV, PC screen, or encompassing the idea of futuristic interactive television, in some way, will not be considered for this show.

WHERE: The show will take place at Yerba Buena Gardens March Tues.-Wed. 13-14, 2007

WHEN: The show will be hung the afternoon of March 12th and the show will break down on March
14th in the late afternoon.

SALES and SPLIT: If something is sold, the artist will receive 60% of the proceeds and [itvt] will receive 40%. All payment will be sent out within 30 days from the closing date of the exhibit to the best of our ability unless the buyer has delayed payment for some reason, of which we will fully inform you. All work for sale will be clearly marked and all work not for sale will be clearly marked using “NFS” tags. Please follow all other submission procedures for entry below.

ENTRANCE FEE: Jury and Publicity Fee: $20.00

DEADLINES:
• Poster Art deadline: November 30, 2006
• Early Submission for Publicity in our Newsletter: December 20, 2006
• Final Submission for Jury: January 20, 2007

PUBLICITY: [itvt] will promote all juried images of art in their email newsletter and Web site (current old site and new one to launch in March 2007). This newsletter is sent to many thousands of high-level executives and creative people around the world interested or working in the professional television and Web 2.0 broadband industries. [itvt] will broadcast information about the show on the Internet and send a formal press release to other media outlets, including newspapers, magazines and local broadcast companies.

WANTED: Video artist whose images we can display on our Web site as well as on other promotional materials to advertise the event. We need a digital .jpg of 300dpi or higher or .avi,.mov or .wmv files. Deadline is postmarked by November 30, 2006. Please follow all other
submission procedures for entry.

MEDIA FILES AND PROPOSALS: Please send up to 3 submissions per artist
Digital: Please send up to 3 .jpg digital images via e-mail. In the body of the email, please include name, contact information, phone, email address, titles of the pieces, and prices, any other comment of 100 words or less to our curator, Jill of ChatterBox at [email protected] and please copy it to [email protected]

Slides: Please send up to 3 slides by mail. Please include name, phone, address, email address, title of the piece, dimensions of the work and a comment of 100 words or less on a SASE envelope and a stamped return SASE envelope to Jill at ChatterBox 404 Summit Dr. Corte Madera, CA. 94925

Performance: Please send a written proposal via email or post and when applicable a digital file or video of the work through post or .jpg image file through email. We are potentially looking to feature your performance at the cocktail reception gala.

Film/Video: Film/Video MUST be submitted on DVD and be either .avi, .mov , .mpg, or .wmv file(s). Film deadline is postmarked January 15, 2007.

NOTICES:
• All Artists will be informed of their entry to the show by February 5th, 2007. Members of the Jury will also be named at that time.
• Post card invitations will be available to all artists.
• We are not responsible for any artwork left after March 15. th
• If you are an artist residing outside of the San Francisco Bay Area and your work is selected for the exhibition, you are solely responsible for coordinating the return of your artwork and shipping costs, which include packing labor, packing material, postage, and
insurance, etc.

INSURANCE: Although every precaution will be taken to assure the safety and security of accepted artwork (Yerba Buena is locked every evening), please be aware that artwork is submitted at your own risk and [itvt] does not insure individual submitted artwork against theft or damage.
