Internet Archaeology Guest Galleries

Dear friends and colleagues,

Some incredible work has come out of the Internet Archaeology Guest Galleries.

Rhizome has named it among the top Online Galleries of 2009 (Thanks Rhizome!)

2010 is here now and although GeoCities is gone, a very strong archive is still alive, and there are many more unearthed internet gems to uncover.

Internet Archaeology is currently looking for more artists to contribute to our Guest Galleries.

We are dedicated to preserving the aesthetics and sentiments of an older internet; if you have ideas for work that speaks to, is inspired by or uses elements of an early internet, please send in a proposal.

Please consider this a great opportunity to showcase your work, and in turn have people realize the importance of preserving and showcasing an older age of the internet which will provide much inspiration and insight to many generations to come.

Contact [email protected] for more details.

Sincerely,

Ryder Ripps
