Williamsburg Gallery Moves and Shakes

For Immediate Release: When the going is great at home, relocating just doesn't make sense… Expansion does.

Williamsburg transcends beyond jumping the East River and instead takes Brooklyn across coastlines of the North Atlantic Ocean. Here are just some of the places Dam, Stuhltrager Gallery will move and shake in the coming months… Frankfurt/Germany (Gallery Exhibit), North Adams/Massachusetts (Institution Exhibit), Hamptons/New York (Fair), Indianapolis/Indiana (Museum Exhibit), Madrid/Spain (Cultural Exchange sponsored by Spanish Government), Boston/Massachusetts (Institution Exhibit), Newark/New Jersey (Public Art Project), London/England (Fair), Breta/Netherlands (Institution Exhibit), Miami/Florida (Fair), Istanbul/Turkey (Museum & Fair), Tallahassee, Florida (Museum Exhibit), Louisville/Kentucky (Museum Exhibit), New York City/New York (Museum Exhibit)

Not to be outdone abroad- Dam, Stuhltrager's fall/winter lineup in Brooklyn brings home solo exhibits from favorites Loren Munk, Ruth Marshall and Mark Esper… In October: Consult Munk's map paintings to trace where art's been, at and going. While making connections through history, become an immortalized part of the present by adding yourself to the record then and there. In November: Catch Marshall's complete collection of handknit coral snake skins (all 66 species found on earth) and the viper tapestry that launched her into the world of textiles. In January: After three sprawling simultaneous solo exhibits at three Williamsburg galleries in '05, Esper breaks new ground by becoming the first artist to fill all three of Dam, Stuhltrager's galleries. 2007 Marks the "Year of Esper".

A fall season that big must have an action packed summer…
