TINT - Call to Contribute

Looking for artists, curators and academics; individuals, groups and organisations with an interest in cross disciplinary art that merges with technology and science. With special emphasis on artworks, which are interactive, responsive, user aware and audience led.

WHAT IS TINT:

TINT is an artist run organisation providing a platform for open discourse, experimentation and display of digital/analog hybrid art forms connecting the visual fine arts with science, design and technology. Established in February 2009, TINT was initiated through a successful group exhibition of interactive installation and sculpture in London, UK.

Collectively Tint will host a series of events encouraging emerging and mid career artists to realise concepts and ideas to their full potential. How will this be done?

⁃ Connecting individuals and groups.
⁃ Stimulate open discussion through networking/blogging.
⁃ Creating a platform to push collaboration.
⁃ Host events & exhibitions.
⁃ Create & share opportunities.
- Support and assistance with projects.

TINT is looking for members to collectively grow the opportunities for what is currently an undernourished art form. By encouraging innovation, research and experimentation TINT can help to support artists in developing and promoting their practice.
