"Ferrous Artifacts" - Lorin Edwin Parker - Los Angeles

Ferrous Artifacts – At Machine Gallery in Echo Park.

An energy transformation environment by Lorin Edwin Parker.

Lorin Edwin Parker presents Ferrous Artifacts: Three electronic musicians will perform in a prepared environment without traditional amplification or playback. The performers and the audience will interact with their music through touch, sight and sound by manipulating vibrating objects including telephone receivers, broken banjos, electromagnets and rusty skillets*. Take part in a mad science experiment to rival even the most venerable baking soda & vinegar volcano. Featured performers: F. Lewis Keller, Cooper Baker, Michael Ribiat, with introduction by Lorin Edwin Parker.

*Tetanus shots recommended, but not provided.

A mystery piece will also be played by Corey Fogel.
