DOUBLE VISION (Sean Clute / Pauline Jennings) and choreographer Amy Lewis split an evening of innovative dance, video, and sound. The performance will showcase works inspired by disembodied heads, mapping of social and mathematical structures, and survival strategies of Pier 39's waltzing sea lions.

DOUBLE VISION will premiere Fog is not Ghost, along with the restaging of …as if by Falling and Disembodied Head #4. These pieces bridge a variety of artistic disciplines with collaborations between choreographer, composer, animator, and costume designer. For example, Disembodied Head #4 utilizes interactive technologies to depict moments of separation between body and mind. In the performance animated heads and physical performers interact with each other on stage and screen in an attempt to become one complete being.

Amy Lewis will be presenting The Hog and Feather, Fugue no. 4 in C sharp minor BMV873 by J.S. Bach, and Color Theory. Lewis' work involves mapping of synaesthetic complexities in music and color to modern dance. Her work Color Theory takes Kandinsky's theories on the effects of color on the spiritual body and translates them into dynamic and rhythmical choreography.
