Lisa Williamson (aka John Van Wmson) roll. On view at BSD are new
paintings, drawings, and video works loosely tied together by the
ideas of introspection, the home, and the intimation of meaning in
the mundane. Johnson's watercolors and oil paintings of home
interiors balance feng shui with formal, painterly considerations,
and are complemented by VanDeventer's delicate, photo-realist
drawings. Williamson's single-channel videos humorously and
confidently make a "boring" Sunday afternoon at home look fun."
