NEW WORKS BY ELIZABETH KING AT UCSD PRICE CENTER GALLERY B

–La Jolla– A series of fifteen oil paintings by Elizabeth King entitled, “ Mythical Griffith,” will be on display at the University of California San Diego Price Center at Gallery B on July 23, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Kings abstract paintings depict a series of Griffith Park paths, painted plein air, within Griffith Park. King captures the atmospheric quality of recognizable landscapes such as Griffith Park Observatory and the LA Skyline, through strong expressive brushstrokes, and her own interpretation of the California landscape pallet. A catered reception for the artist will be held in the reception area in front of Gallery B at the same time. This gallery exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
