Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach

Submissions for Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach 2008 now being accepted.

For one spectacular evening Alys Beach is allowing its pristine white walls to be marked up, albeit temporarily, by projected art.

Submit innovative and visually compelling examples of
* generative art
* short experimental films
* videos, animations
* VJ sets
* still imagery
* interactive concepts
for projection onto the town walls of Alys Beach, Saturday August 30th. Alys Beach is considered one of the most progressive towns in the world with regard to environmental sustainability initiatives; special consideration will be given to work that address a connection to the environment. THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE; deadline for submissions is July 11th, 2008.


PRIZES AWARDED
A $2,500 grand prize will be awarded to the "Best of Show" in addition to:
* Best of Show: $2,500 (sponsored by the Alys Foundation)
* Best Environmental Theme: $1,000
* Most Experimental: $1,000
* Best Local Artist: $1,000 (sponsored by 30A.com)
* Audience Favorite: $1,000 (sponsored by 30A.com)
