Teaching Position - Adjunct Instructor for Graduate class in Motion Graphics

Motion Graphics - Spring '21

We are looking for an experienced motion graphics artist to teach a graduate course in the spring semester. This is a hands-on production class where students will create new time-based artworks while also thinking critically about the tools and techniques of film production. The class will cover advanced explorations in working with typography, tracking, 3D, effects, expressions and compositing in After Effects.

The MFA Program in Integrated Media Arts (IMA) offers advanced studies in socially engaged, nonfiction media making. We are searching for applicants with a background in Fine Arts that maintains a personal creative practice. An ideal candidate will have a terminal degree and previous teaching experience.
