It's easy. Bring your jgs or mpgs on a cd/dvd and we'll project them. MPGS can be 3 minutes max.

E32 is an artists' talk and projection series that takes place Every 3rd 2sday of the month, 8pm, at 5C Cultural Center Lounge, 68 Avenue C, at 5th street and C (F/V train to 2nd Ave/Walk East on Houston toward Ave C/Left on Ave C toward 5th St.) Read the reveiw at:

E32'S DECEMBER SHOW IS
HOLIDAY SURPRISE

Dec. 18th, 8-10pm
Think of it as an open mic night only it's for art/video. Bring your 3 minute video or your jpgs on CD/DVD. While your work is being shown you may want to speak about the work or do a little Q&A. It's a very low key, supportive and unpretentious vibe. Bring anything you want to market yourself as an artist such as resume, art cards, business cards, etc. Be prepared to network and to give and get applause.

Guidelines for JPGS
It's easiest to put your jpgs as data files on data CD/DVD
1.4 mb seems to produce a good image
size for a 40 x 60 inch screen
sRGB which is standard
(Think of this as practice for your next NYFA application)

Invariably someone's DVD won't work on my Philips DVP5140 in spite of its' reputation for playing almost anything you can burn. Technical problems are inevitable. Don’t yell at the volunteers.

For the press release:
On E32 night, the 3rd Tuesday, December 18th from 8-10pm video and traditional artists responding to an open call will be present with their art on DVD. We don't know what we'll see. Like any gift ever given, it could be a delightful surprise or "Pajamas. Gee, Grandma, thanks." In any case, we will find joy in sharing and the projector bulb will make the season bright.
