CFP: "Beyond Boundaries" International Digital Media and Arts Association Conference (9/1/2007; iDMAa Philadelphia, 11/8-10/2007)

"Beyond Boundaries" — The push and pull of change in the academic environment is the subject of the fifth annual International Digital Media and Arts Association (iDMAa) Conference.

It's about connecting — beyond traditional technologies, beyond disciplines, beyond divisions, beyond institutions, and beyond geography. In digital media, communications and art we connect beyond these boundaries every day. This conference is the opportunity to discuss and explore how these connections affect our research, our practice, our pedagogy, and our curriculum. What is the significance of boundaries in a digital world?

iDMAa (http://www.idmaa.org/) welcomes academics, artists, designers, and industry representatives to participate in various conference activities. The conference schedule includes: refereed paper discussions, topical breakout sessions, a juried exhibition, a program showcase and several keynote speakers who are leaders in the digital field.
