Call for Artists: Abstract Mind Spring 2017: the 2nd International Exhibition on Abstract Art

CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in “Abstract Mind,” the International Exhibition on Abstract Art.

*Deadline: January 26, 2017

-Painting, Drawing, and Print
-Sculpture & Installation Art
-Photograph & 2D Digital Art
-Video & Interactive Art

*Installation

-Photograph & 2D Digital Art
Selected works will be printed in 10×15 inches, framed, and installed by our curators & assistants. Please let us know if you have works that need to be printed larger than 10×15 inches.

-Video & Interactive Art
We will provide projectors and DVD/DIVX players for the show. Multiple single-channel works will be screen through a projector. Our curators & assistants will install your work(s) according to your installation guidelines. If the work is required to be screened through a projector exclusively, or more than two projectors/monitors are needed, please let us know. Additional fees may apply.

-Painting, Sculpture, and Installation Art
The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of his/her work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses. The work should be no larger than 39 inch (1 m) on the longest length for a painting and no larger than 59x59x79 inches (1.5 x 1.5 x 2 m, w x l x h) for a sculptural/installation piece.

*How to submit your work:
– Please send us up to 3 direct links to video and/or up to 5 JPG images, and your bio. Please email them to “[email protected].”
– Please write “Submission: Abstract Mind – Category – Your Name” in the subject line of your email.

If your work is selected, you will be required to pay the show maintenance fee: $50 (USD) per work.
