Final deadline: 1 August 2016

SFC - Shoah Film Collection,
founded 2010 by the Cologne based media artist and curator, Wilfried Agricola de Cologne, is a worldwide unique media art and peace initiative addressed to young generations of audiovisual artists to deal with the topic of "shoah" by using new technologies and contemporary approaches in order to keep vivid the memory of the Holocaust by sensitizing people via art.

Shoah Film Collection, is releasing each year on 27 January a new call intending to encourage artists and expand the collection continuously.

For making the film collection available to a wider audience, a special event structure had been launched in 2012 - AVMCI - "A Virtual Memorial Commemorative Interventions" - http://avmci.a-virtual-memorial.org, intending to place the film collection into the context of complementary interventions like a symposium, lectures, exhibitions, performances of different kind, discussions, artists talks and much more, in order to activate the audience, as well as the artists.

The pilot event took place 2012 in Latvia - "A Virtual Memorial Riga 2012" http://riga2012.a-virtual-memorial.org - standing under the Patronage of the European Parliament.

Shoah Film Collection is looking for new videos to be included in the collection and the associated screenings.
