EBBWFERRIC is a Free one-day mini-festival by artist Stefhan Caddick, which combines installation art, death metal, film, metalwork performance and the archives of Ebbw Vale Steelworks.

Taking place at the historic General Offices, the only remaining steelworks building in Ebbw Vale, EBBWFERRIC is a celebration of metal in all its manifestations - molten, heavy, historic, hot strip, electrolytic.

EBBWFERRIC includes:
- Specific Gravity - a new two-screen film by Stefhan Caddick which combines 100 year old footage of the steelworks with data from NASA’s mapping of the lunar surface
- The Ebbw Vale Works Museum - an opportunity to visit the museum and talk to the ex-steelworkers who run it
- Live music - live sets from local metal and punk bands (line up to be confirmed)
- 'Ferrous Blooms', a hot metal performance by Andy Griffiths, Head of Sculpture, Carmarthen School of Art
- Programme of archival films

Getting there: Trains from Cardiff stop directly outside at Ebbw Vale Town station. There is also ample parking nearby.

Ebbwferric is funded by the Arts Council of Wales and supported by Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, Ebbw Vale Works Archival Trust (http://evwat.co.uk/) and PEAK: Contemporary Art in the Black Mountains (http://peakart.org.uk/)
