Ugly Duck creative space opens submissions for Spring/Summer season

  • Location: Southwark
  • Deadline: Feb 22 2016 at 10:02AM
Ugly Duck is seeking creative projects to take place in our unique venues in Southwark.

Our spaces consist of 47/49 Tanner Street - a large warehouse building with a variety of characterful rooms, and The Testing Works – an extremely unusual space consisting of a two-story engineering museum, complete with Victorian machinery and industrial fittings.

We are looking for exciting and innovative projects that can make use of these incredible spaces. With hires usually spanning one full Saturday and Sunday, this is your chance to inhabit our buildings and share your work with a wide-ranging London audience.

We programme a diverse range of projects, and whilst we work closely with artists, we are also keen to see submissions from groups in other disciplines including but not limited to architecture; science, information and technology; social sciences; activism. We are interested in projects that involve audiences in new and dynamic ways, work across disciplines, and educate and advocate for social, political and environmental change.
