Online Exhibition: Digitalis Commissions

Animate Projects is delighted to present the online exhibition of the Digitalis Commissions.

The exhibition premieres four new films: Bradley Manning Had Secrets by Adam Butcher, Fountain (zoom) by Lizzie Hughes, Our relationships will become radiant by James Lowne and Five Year Plan by Matilda Tristram.

The four artists were chosen from an open call for proposals to produce films which explore, question, subvert or confound our expectations of art and the ‘digital’.

The films are available to watch online: http://bit.ly/okIXij
Interviews with the artists can be watched here: http://bit.ly/qTgAk3
Both films and interviews can be downloaded here from iTunes: http://bit.ly/fDujfT

A newspaper catalogue for the Digitalis programme has information about the works and artists, with commissioned essays about art and the digital space by writers: Nick Bradshaw, Ele Carpenter, Emma Geliot, Max Hattler, Rosemary Heather, Tim Shore and Gary Thomas. The catalogue is available from Animate Projects shop for free (excluding the price of postage) or can be downloaded as a pdf: http://bit.ly/vnaf6l
