Fossils from the Golden Age of Spam

The Spaceworks Gallery is pleased to present:

Reimagining the Ordovician Gothic: Fossils From the Golden Age of Spam

Reimagining the Ordovician Gothic: Fossils of the Golden Age of Spam
presents the Center for Anthropological Computing's incomparable collection
of spam email. Crossing the American roadside archeology of David
Macaulay's Motel of the Mysteries with the dubious wonders of David
Wilson's Museum of Jurassic Technology, the show borrows the vocabulary of
academic exhibition and converts the Spaceworks gallery into a dime museum
tangle of displays and dioramas. A world of traveling salesmen and deposed
African dictators is brought to life, as mundane junk email is
transmogrified into something alluringly strange.
