Fred Wilson will be giving a talk on Friday, January 9 at 6:30pm about his work for the United States Pavilion at the 2003 Venice Biennale.

Wilson's artwork combines sculptures, paintings, texts, found objects and media to generate a dialogue between the objects and the viewer, critiquing the museum's role in the creation of cultural and political meaning.

Wilson's talk is in conjunction with Eyebeam's new exhibition, .mov, the first exhibit from the Moving Image Division Studios. The exhibit features the work of Isaac Julien, Fred Wilson and the 2003 Production Artists.

The exhibit takes place at Eyebeam's Chelsea facility located at 540 W. 21st Street, between 10th & 11th Avenues, from January 8
