Just Food invites you to
Food Justice and the Public Good:A New York City Summit on Farms and Food and the "Art for Social Change" workshop

*Art and activism go hand in hand. What is more powerful, inspiring and interesting, than understanding social change by seeing it represented in an art form, such as a dance, song or painting? Art appeals to the heart first rather than the head and can be an effective tool in reaching larger audiences for your cause. In this session, participants will learn of creative and fun ways used by organizations to get their message for social change heard, seen and felt! Resources on funding and materials will also be discussed.*
