Position: Digital Programs Assistant

The Architectural League of New York, an independent forum for the presentation and discussion of new work and ideas in contemporary architecture, seeks a full-time Digital Programs Assistant to assist with a range of ongoing digital projects. Primary responsibilities will be to assist with the production and editing of the League’s ongoing series of audio/video podcasts, including the implementation of a major new project to digitize the League’s audio archive of lectures dating from the past thirty years. The Digital Programs Assistant will also help update and manage content on the League’s web site; produce the League’s weekly e-newsletter; ensure the timely announcement and listing of League programs in both print and online publications; and manage the League’s press and image archive. The League's digital program initiative is in its early stages and there will be a lot of opportunity for the Digital Programs Assistant to help shape its growth. Ideal candidate will have a concentration in architecture, art history, or visual arts, but other disciplines are also welcome. Requirements: Fluent in FinalCut Pro, QuickTime, iMovie, ProTools and/or other comparable audio/video editing softwares.
