Challenging students to cross boundaries creates uneasy negations of
aesthetics and conceptual problems. For Patrick Lichty’s Computer
Controlled Installation Environments class, students of many disciplines and
levels of experience were brought together to explore the creation of new
artworks using interfaces and Parallax Stamp microcontrollers.

The results run the gamut from user-sensitive imaging to live audio
sculptures, living puppets, video Theremins, and even embodied Pong.
Programmers, designers, and artists came together to create a variety of
unusual works. Please join us for a novel body of student work that strives
to challege definitions of genre and discipline.
