summer opportunities

Hello!

My name is Jordan Dalton, and I am a second-year undergraduate at the
University of Georgia. I am part of a scholarship program here called
the Foundation Fellowship, which provides a full scholarship, as well
as a significant stipend to allow students to travel/study abroad.
However, my degree program here is a little out-of-the-ordinary. I am
constructing my own major in what I am casually referring to as
"Digital Literature and Dynamic Media" – I have core classes in the
computer science department, with additional courses from English,
drama, digital media, and in electronic music through the music
department.

I was hoping to go this summer to the Kitchen summer institute.
However, since they're not doing it this year, I'm at a bit of a loss
as far as summer programs/workshops.
Ideally, this summer would be spent doing classes or workshops, and
next summer would be an internship or a research position.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

Jordan
