Beloved friends,
with this letter we want to make you on RAF (forum of kind of
revolution) attentively - for an unusual project, which was brought by
a number of international artists, theoreticians and activists into
being. One year ago the German writer and philosopher Jan Reemtsma
bought a large, rural cottage from that 19. Century between Brussels
and Berlin which is available for artists and theoreticians, in order
to create an open platform for not-institutional meetings, exchange and
work on the area of the science, performance, dance, theatre, screen
art, film, music and theory. A place for the concentration and the
work, and accessible for everyone.
It is a singulary initiative - already in the short time, in which RAF
exists since December 2005 now, a constantly growing number (so far
over 350) of prospective customers from all world showed, how necessary
it is: Over 350 people have joined RAF in the meantime and brought
themselves in the autopoietic organized project.
At the moment RAF is confronted with many difficulties by beginning
without academic contributions. In order to make it short: RAF needs
your support to come around this critical phase till the inauguration
of Stiftungsprofessuren and syfety beyond - in such a well-known
difficult and time-consuming process. Therefore we are dependent on
yoursassistance: building safety precautions and for basic costs such
as heating and insurance are ensured.
For this reason the promotion association "Sympathisaints of RAF" was
created - for all which want to help us to support this initiative. We
ask you to make RAF either a scientific contribution to support or for
joining the "Sympathisaints of RAF" with a regular academic

Liebe Freunde,
mit diesem Brief wollen wir euch auf RAF (RevolutionArtsForum)
aufmerksam machen - einem aussergewohnlichen Projekt, das von einer
Reihe internationaler Kunstler, Theoretiker und Aktivisten ins Leben
gerufen wurde. Vor einem Jahr hat der deutsche Schriftsteller und
Philosoph Jan Reemtsma ein grosses, landliches Anwesen aus dem 19.
Jahrhundert zwischen Brussel und Berlin gekauft und fur Kunstler und
Theoretiker zur Verfugung gestellt, um eine offene Plattform fur
nichtinstitutionelle Begegnungen, Austausch und Arbeit auf dem Gebiet
der Wissenschaft, Performance, Tanz, Theater, Bildende Kunst, Film,
Musik und Theorie zu schaffen. Ein Ort der Konzentration und der
Arbeit, fur jeden zuganglich.
Es ist eine einzigartige Initiative - und bereits in der kurzen Zeit,
in der RAF seit Dezember 2005 nun existiert, hat eine stetig wachsende
Zahl (bislang uber 350) von Interessenten aus aller Welt gezeigt, wie
notwendig sie ist: Uber 350 Leute haben RAF inzwischen genutzt und sich
in das autopoietisch organisierte Projekt eingebracht.
Im Augenblick ist RAF damit konfrontiert, die Schwierigkeiten eines
Anfangs ohne akademische Beitrage uberbrucken zu mussen. Um es kurz zu
machen: RAF braucht Eure/Ihre Unterstutzung, um durch diese kritische
Phase zu kommen bis Stiftungsprofessuren geschaffen und gesichert
werden konnen - ein wie wir alle wissen schwieriger und zeitraubender
Prozess. Deshalb sind wir auf Deine/Ihre Hilfe angewiesen: fur
Bausicherheitsmassnahmen und fur Grundkosten wie Heizung und
Versicherung ist naturlich gesorgt.
Aus diesem Grund wurde der Forderverein "Sympathisaints of RAF"
gegrundet - fur alle, die uns helfen wollen, diese Initiative zu
unterstutzten. Wir bitten Dich/Sie, RAF entweder durch einen
wissenschaftlichen Beitrag zu unterstutzten oder durch den Beitritt zu
den "Sympathisaints of RAF" mit einem regelmassigen Beitrag. Ubermittelt
werden kann sehr einfach uber E-Mail oder durch eine normale Postakte
(Dienstinfos s.u.).
