CANNIBALIZE

The RIDER Project is a mobile art gallery, located in the back of a Ryder truck. The Project is based in the ideas of Joseph Beuys and explores the potential of art to create positive social change. We have exhibited in Chelsea as well as underserved neighborhoods such as Harlem and Bedford Stuyvesant for the last 3 years, and have been reviewed by the NYPress, NYarts, NY1, and were listed in the Village Best of New York 2005

We will be exhibiting during the upcoming Armory and Scope art fairs, and our show will be entitled CANNIBALIZE. We are looking for a few more artists to exhibit in the truck since Two artists recently dropped out due to personal issues, and an upcoming show in Chelsea.

If you are interested in exhbiting your art in the RIDER Scope exhibition please contact [email protected] with 3 images, resume and statement. Please note that contributions of time (gallery-sitting), and $ will help cover the costs of the truck, gas etc.

Thank you,
Michele Gambetta
