i'm going to bed early, this day has just got to end!

well, the ball is rolling, the shit is headed toward the fan. while
joy's outlook is probably the sanest most healthy way to proceed now,
ben describes a real gripe.

are we going to end up the ones killed because some midwesterners
were insanely gullable? if bush pisses some country off, they decide
to nuke the US, who do you think's gonna be at the top of their list
of targets? do you think they are gonna ask us which folks voted
republican? if we aren't nuked, an ordinary war might last em what,
a week over here. our military is spent, outa town in 2 wars, we're
already low on cash. that sure makes me feel safe.

joy's got some commendable determination. tomorrow we all will
probably have more. but for now, i can't help agreeing…

>to all those people who toiled hundreds of hours to get out the vote
>and get Bush out of office, it sends a clear message: "Don't fucking
>bother."
-ben

we got em to the polls but somebody forgot to tell those folks there
was a lot of news for 3 years before the election. if all they heard
was the propaganda in the last month, who could tell who was lying?
some of those hokey conspiracy theories were actually true and those
outraged guys yelling were just pretending. we'll get it right
eventually.

just hope new yorkers aren't wiped off the earth before then.
