"Altruism of Albert Schweitzer" by Elizabeth A. King

AT HADLEY LUZERNE PUBLIC LIBRARY

LAKE LUZERNE NY – A series of ten oil paintings by Elizabeth King entitled, Altruism of Albert Schweitzer, sponsored by the Sacandaga Valley Arts Network, will be on display at the Hadley Luzerne Public Library from December 7, through December 28, 2002. A reception for the artist will be held at the library at 19 North Main Street in Lake Luzerne, NY from 11 am to 1 pm on December 7, 2002.

Several of the individual pieces of the Schweitzer series have been shown in Pennsylvania and Florida, but the Lake Luzerne, NY exhibit is the first time the entire series,
of oil paintings, will be presented intact.
