WALK-IN TO POLYTECHNIC
December 16, Fri.
8 pm - 2 am
The Wunsch Building
Polytechnic University, Building Number 10 on the map.
$5 for Observers, FREE for “Walk-In” performers

Walk-In to Polytechnic is a project about you and created to nurture mixed media collaboration.
Infrastructure for video, audio and dance improvisation is provided
(sound system, projection, floor space, etc.) without any definition of
how to use these resources. Chris Jordan, Anton Marini,
Chiaki Watanabe & Dan Winckler will perform live video and collaborate with
“walk-in” participants who wish to join in the improvisation. There will be
9 video projectors to satisfy your appetite. Specialist Daniel Smith will provide the
surround sound environment all night. With “Invigorators” Geoff Matters,
Stephanie Palmer, Keiko Uenishi, and Elsa Vieira, we will provide assistance and
offer encouragement for the walk-in artists and help you get involved in the
performance, which will last at least six hours. Walk-In to Polytechnic is supported
by Share, and is part of the Movement Research Festival 2005: Open Source.

Directions: A, C, F to Jay St. /Borough Hall. From any train, follow signs to MetroTech.
