X-Tra is a quarterly art journal published by the Project X Foundation for Art and Criticism, a nonprofit corporation. The editorial board is composed of independent artists and writers based in Los Angeles.

X-Tra prints artistic and critical texts about matters of relevance to artists, writers and all those interested in contemporary art. The journal has been published continuously since 1997.
