Amy Knoles is a solo artist who tours globaly performing computer assisted =
live electronic music with percussion controllers and linear/interactive vi=
deo. Her work
has been described as being of "frightening beauty, fascinating, complex" -=

Los Angeles Times. Amy is the recipient of the Durfee Grant 2003, "UNESC=
O International Prize for the Performing Arts-2000", the 1999-2000 "Indivi=

Fellowship" Award from C.O.L.A. , the 2001 Lester Horton Award for "Outsta=
nding Achievement in Original Music for Dance", and she was the 1996 ASCAP=

Foundation " Composer-in-Residence at the Music Center of Los Angeles", and=
is currently creating a sound environment for the J. Paul Getty Museum .=


She is the Exe. Dir. of the California E.A.R. Unit and also works with the =
Los Angeles Philharmonic New Music Group, Ensemble Modern of Frankfurt, Squ=

Paul Dresher Ensemble, Basso Bongo, Frank Zappa, Flea, Morton Subotnick, ot=
hers.

Amy has recorded nearly 30 CD's of new music and is proud to announce the r=

Claudio Parodi has a classical training and played jazz. He joined the impr=
ovisers' scene after meeting Barre Phillips. Since some years he plays chea=
p electronics alongside his piano. He organized contemporary art exhibition=
Intersezioni. He played and recorded with Barre Phillips, Serge Pesce, Pat=
rick Vaillant, Migueu Montanaro, Alain Joule, Edoardo Ricci, Eugenio Sann=

(drums, electronics) as a duo, in La Protezione - with Luigi Valenziano (du=
bmaster, CD player, tapes) - and in Burzi Snack Bar - with Riccardo Kalb (e=
lectric bass, electronics); the duo played in Arrivano le Streghe!, street =
theatre piece by Teatro del Piccione. He is the author of the music for the=
videos Malegantus (directed by Alberto Ghiara) and Frammenti Sonori (direc=
ted by Francesco Bianchi and Claudio Rossi), second prize in 1998 at VIII v=
ideodance international festival Il Coreografo Elettronico and mentioned at=
the second edition of Genova Film Festival. He played in Manoeuvre Directe=
with Michel Doneda, Ly Thanh Tien (dance, poetry, trumpet, diapoems) and M=
aki (guitar, tapes). He played in Sun Circle Moon, a project led by Jacopo =
Andreini (sax, drums, bass) and Harlan Lyman (drums). He played in a multi-=
media project with Mirella Carbone (diapositives). He organized Seminario s=
ulla Libera Improvvisazione Saitoh Tetsu & Michel Doneda, with partial fina=
ncial help from Centro della Creativita Comune di Genova. He plays in Tal=
