Reminder - 10 days to deadline - Classic II exhibition

Reminder; 10 days left to deadline for the Classic II exhibition.

We would like to remind everyone who are capable of creating art for a 16Mhz computer that the deadline for the Classic II exhibition is November 15th. And by the way it is not so hard to utilize these old machines, you just need a good idea and be able to be a bit pragmatic.

We will also bring you the good news that thanx to LAB in Copenhagen we have been able to upgrade the memory in several computers. They are now up to the max size of 10 Mb RAM. This really makes a difference, especially since we now are able to run Netscape 3 and even Netscape 4 (slowly) on some computers.

Note that a few SE30s might get as much as 16-18 Mb RAM.

But we would encourage people to submit not only browser art. Good old applications like HyperCard are super cool and runs smoothly on these nice old machines. So get the dust of those old floppies and start creating. So think different. Older versions of powerpoint, Director and Quicktime 2.5 might be useful hints.

We would also be grateful for suggestions on older HyperCard stacks that could be included in the exhibition. We know that there are quite a few good projects 'out there
