I guess it's alright if corporations steal artists ideas wholesale as
long as it's not the other way around.

I thought it was pretty cool although there was definitely some computer
editing involved. The funny thing is that the idea is far from unique.
How to build a better mousetrap, to alarm clocks, to The Jetsons.

Artists are the innovators, the time travelers, the visionaries. Eventually
those artists or most likely the friends of the artist get a contract to
make a TV ad or new product. The friendship falls apart and the friend makes
lots of money. in fact you dont even need an artist friend, just open Art
Forum, go to the Basel Art Fair or the Venice Biennial.

If a corporation can take ideas and make it unique to their products and
services then an artist can take from the corporations and make it unique to
our products and serviced (Art=Product Creation=Service)

Artists steal from other artists, most of the time.

I saw the above piece online a month or so ago, and immediately remembered
seeing the original video at MOCA a few years ago, but I still do not know
who are the appropriated artists.

If anyone knows the names of the video artists, please send them on.

Best,

Eduardo
