ICON continues its mission to showcase the work of experimental
video artists and live video/sound performances. At X|ReDuX, video
artists, Vj's and musicians will gather to present and perform their
work in one venue. At AUTO:Identity, experimental video artists focus
the camera onto themselves to create portraits of their musings,
fears, fantasies, and phobias. ICON makes use of the unique space
that REMOTE has to offer. It is an interactive video lounge with over
70 monitors, 30 cameras and a full screen projector. It is the ideal
location for ICON as it is both a screening venue and club where
audiences can simultaneously view, discuss and participate in the
artists' works.
