Qu****ime

Hi, all please excuse the thinly vieled content, used to cover up that I am
again simply trying to test to see if I am able to post to this list, but
does anyone have thoughts concerning the non choice of media players that
would allow you to view Cory Archangels "Data Diarys" piece. It was "Apples"
Quicktime or nothing if I remember rightly.
I hope this works this time….I've paid my rhyzome membership n'all.

Thanks!
I'm no techie but could'nt it have been possible to embed a media
player into some html so that the viewer did'nt ever have to see which
mplayer was being used. Your going to tell me that's *not* possible now
are'nt you…. : )

yes, one can embed quicktime in an html page….

speaking of media playersl, i've grown particularly addicted to the fusion media player ( http://www.fusionmedia.org )====lately i've gotten into watching films on my machine, and i find this player invaluable…it's small (a little over 300K), offers some recording of streams, and allows one to customize the mpeg decompression…
