Cartographic Congress check this out!

The CartographicCongress is a meeting of maps and map makers due to take
place over six weeks from the beginning of May 2003. The event aims to bring
cartographers from diverse contexts together informally to socialise,
discuss and make links between their maps.

Over a six week period, cartographers are invited to situate a map in and
around LimehouseTownHall in East London. Each week there will be one meal
and one field trip to areas of cartographic interest within reach of London.

Some public presentations will co-incide with the CartographicCongress, such
as the June Dorkbotlondon event, others may follow.
