"someday there will be five thousand Max-like environments. I just hired
one of smartest programmers in the world as a consultant to help with our Mac
MIDI and audio timing stuff, he's also been hired by Apple to do the
same thing with OS X. Can anyone compete with that? I have an
ex-Microsoft guy working on the same thing for Windows. He's done
some amazing work already. So I am not worried about competition in the
short term. In the long term, if all this other shit is free it will not
be fun trying
