Thanks for the nice words. Will you exchange links w
Cosmoetica? The fellow CC'd told me Briggs moved out here
to the TC area last year & lived with him, but apparently
Briggs & he fell out over $- Max, can you help this
woman? DAN

BTW- if you ever need anyone to heap scorn on the
Literati just ask. The Twin Cities version quake in their
boots at the mention of my name. I'd love to zing a few
from my hometown. www.Cosmoetica.com is fine. I placed
all the essays on their own pages so that's why the URL
changed. DAN

Dan Schneider,

I am a great admirer of your website Cosmoetica. And I also have a favor
to ask of you…
I showed the essay "The Poetry Workshop & its Discontents" to William
Packard, the editor of The New York Quarterly, because the topic/victim of
his upcoming editorial will be MFA programs.
I've been trying to contact Briggs Seekins about using selections from this
essay, but I'm getting returned email from the address provided on your site.
Do you know of a way to contact him?
Also, I'd like to give credit to your website as the place where the essay
appears in full. I noticed that the URL for the essay changed recently, so
perhaps it is best to refer to the home page. Should I refer to it as
"Cosmoetica", "Cosmoetica.com", any preferences?
Thanks very much for your time and for all the effort you put into
Cosmoetica. It is a stellar resource.

Helen
