In association with our Leap-Second (http://gasket-gallery.com/leap-second/) exhibition, GASKET are delighted to be able to offer a limited number of places on a 2-day workshop with Helen Saunders.

Helen will be taking a select group of participants through her practice, looking at the conceptual process behind the creation of an image, the identification of appropriate subject matter and the techniques involved in capturing, constructing and refining the final image.

Numbers will be limited to a maximum of 8 participants to ensure that Helen is able to work with people on a one-to-one basis, and we’ll be asking applicants to submit a short paragraph about why they wish participate in the workshop and an example of their work to assist us in choosing the final participants.

Equipment required – DSLR Camera, Laptop with Photoshop
Participants will have a basic working knowledge of Photoshop, understand how to make selections and use layers.
They should demonstrate an interest in photography of urban spaces.

and an example of previous work

Applications will close on Friday 27th of September at 6pm with successful applicants being advised by Monday 30th of September
Successful applicants will have until Sunday 6th October to complete payment
