Songs For A New World is a popular song-cycle with music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown. In this song cycle, Brown invites us to examine what drives us to make decisions in our lives and discover how those decisions affect the rest of our lives. Similar to a compilation of short stories, SFANW places an array of characters in life altering situations threaded together by themes of fear, lost love, independence, and the reliance of others.

In BOMP's production, we invite you into the intimate world of each character, sharing personal stories of these people caught in pivotal moments of choice. In the game of life, we never know how the dice will roll, what cards we'll be dealt, or the implications of the space we find ourselves in. We've either got to fight to make it or take the action necessary to change our situation. Watch as the characters fight to make the right choices for where they find themselves in their lives. Each story holds relatable truths to our own lives and the current world climate making for a performance any audience member will connect with.

The amount of non-union talent in this city is amazing, so we've cast the show twice! You don't want to miss the strong solo and ensemble work that these casts are producing. With strong choices and even stronger voices, we are sure this is one show you will not want to miss this holiday season!
