OPEN CALL FOR WORK

FRAMEMAKERS - CHOREOGRAPHY AS AN AESTHETICS OF CHANGE 13th May - 12th June 2005, Limerick /Dublin, Ireland

Framemakers, a symposium that explores a world understood in terms of
relations, order and ecologies, is currently seeking to commission and-or present new artistic work that actively engages with existing social
choreography, or develops alternative structures of human relationships.

The Framemakers project initiated by Daghdha Dance Company, in Association with The Project Arts Centre, Dublin and in partnership with such leading Irish institutions as The Ralahine Centre for Utopian Studies, University of Limerick, weaves together key strands of choreographic experimentation and presentation, culminating in a month long programme including a week of talks and discussions by guest international and national speakers in Project, Dublin (May 29th- June 4th ) and a four-week public thinktank/exhibiton at Daghdha’s Church in Limerick city (May 13th - June 12th).

Proposals are sought from artists working in ANY medium. Commissions will not exceed 7000 Euro; co-productions are welcome. Please send a proposal outlining the concept, technical requirements, budget and relevant supporting material to:
