Tim Griffin essay online @ Lab71

"Physically and emotionally speaking, intimate space is no longer strictly intimate. On the one hand, intimate space is monitored,
obtaining those informational, bureaucratic attributes that function under the sign of surveillance. In other words, all space is at once
concrete and abstract, as it is codified and assumes legislative character, becoming the stuff of coordinates. Any city is a potential
target, for example, the sense of which only heightens bureaucracy's mesh with corporeality."
[Tim Griffin, *Night Vision* 2001]

Solitude still exists, however. If what this excerpt purports is true, then the population would be launched into mass paranoid schizophrenia, for those are the initial conditions that set off the disease. It is understandable, though, how the existence of such intimate spaces is becoming rarer today, and the careless postmodern play with reality is degenerating into debilitating madness.

Virilio? More like alarmingly escalating idiotism,
tendency to pass judgement on humans without capability to do so,
everybody's a 'teacher,' lack of basic respect towards humans,
increasing identification with animalistic murderous impulses,
and the desire to fuck with and all around cripple or 'expose'
humans in some sort of impotent attemptto handle reality.

My next performance art project involves skinning ranndom
members of the audience live. It shows their humanity,
and it's more honest that way.

No more hiding behind that pesky skin.

Also: from now on all haircuts which obscure any portion
of the face in any way are strictly FORBIDDEN.

Also: ornamentatin, jewlery, tatoos, and make up.
It's dishonest.

Virilio lacks a proper understanding of Rush:

[Demanding conscience] in your head, solitude.

All this machinery making modern music can still be open-hearted.

Bearing a gift beyond price, almost free.
