TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2011 — JANUARY 15, 2012 Public Reception and Gallery Talk, November 29, 6-8 pm
We who live in the woodlands; the moraine ridges, washes and sloughs of the Northern Plains; or along the Central Flyway—that migration route from the Arctic to South America—live among birds. Collected in this exhibition are dozens of ways of looking at birds through paintings, photographs, prints, video, and electronic media by artists including Matt Anderson, Barbara Bosworth, Cecelia Condit,Terry Evans,Walton Ford, Kenojuak (Ashevak), David Krueger, Erika Lincoln, Guido van der Werve, Rebecca Norris Webb, Rosalie Winard, and Rob Yeo. Come celebrate our world as fall is overtaken by the encroaching snows of winter.
This exhibition is supported by the Minnesota State Arts Board, the North Dakota Council on the Arts, and by a grant from the City of Grand Forks through the North Valley Arts Council.
