ABOUT HONEYBEES:
The story of two turnip farmers chasing honey bees and dreams."
"A New Indie Rock Musical"
By Aaron and Anna Jones
Directed by Brett Goldstein
Pennsylvania, 1889. Two turnip farmers, Peter and Mary, suddenly
lose their entire turnip crop in a ferocious winter frost. With little
left to live on, they wander through the woods, searching for a
solution, and seem to find their answer in the wonderful (and highly
sought after) honey of the Buffalo Bee. Turnips! Honey! Trains!
Exposition Universelle! Part myth, part made up, the story deals in
dreams and success: what defines them, who defines them, and how they
define us.
