Now more than ever, it is rare for an artist to be given support of any kind without some sort of process. Many times opportunities involve both highly specific requirements, and high competition. Felicity Hogan will guide participants through interpreting many of the common requirements for applications, and how to skillfully tailor your materials to any submission. Ms. Hogan will provide tips for communicating with organizations during the application process, best methods for the presentation of materials and avenues for finding diverse support options. The last half hour of the evening will begin with a brief info-session on CUE’s own inaugural exhibition open call, followed by a Q&A, where participants can ask specific, application-related questions.
Cost: FREE for members, $5 for non-members. RSVPs are required; please e-mail Jessica Gildea [[email protected]] or call 212-206-3583.
