Seeking artist with a strong practice in Print Media, to teach in Print Media area (any combination of digital processes, intaglio, serigraphy, lithography, woodcut, etc.) and 2D Imaging (drawing, photography, painting, animation, etc. – whether manual, mechanical and/or digital). Artists with additional expertise in other media are also welcome to apply. Multidisciplinary orientation, conceptual strengths and contextual sensibility sought to teach courses at all levels within an innovative BFA and MFA program. Salary and benefits competitive.

Start August 2016.

Advanced degree or equivalent. College-level teaching experience beyond graduate assistantships required.

The School of Art is one of five schools in the College of Fine Arts that also includes the Schools of Architecture, Design, Drama and Music. Its undergraduate and graduate curricula include innovative media and concept classes, contextual practice, history and theory, as well as university academic study. Areas of concentration include Drawing, Painting, Print Media and Photography (DP3); Sculpture, Installation, and Site-Work (SIS); Electronic and Time-Based Work (ETB); and Contextual Practice (CP). The School consists of 23 full-time faculty, 11 full-time staff members, approximately 180 undergraduates and 18 graduate students. In addition to BFA and MFA degrees in Art, interdisciplinary degrees are offered in collaboration with other colleges in the university.
